Season Ending Celebration - Friday, Nov 9, 2018

We invite all to attend an evening to reflect on the past season and celebrate the accomplishments of our student-athletes, coaches, volunteers and of course, their parents.  All race season, riders have had riding practice and racing weekends in Interesting Minnesota Weather. Now it's time to celebrate everyone's hard work and watch the season play out on video with friends and former rivals. There will probably be some awards.

Time:  7 PM - Doors open at 6:30.

Season Overall Awards will be given to racers and teams with Special Awards going to nominated individuals

Even though all of our coaches, volunteers and athletes are all outstanding – we are asking the MN League community to nominate individuals for the following awards (see 3 categories, listed below). Now is the time to show your appreciation!

All award nominations must be submitted by midnight Tuesday, October 31st, 2018

To nominate a person for any of the awards listed below, e-mail with the person’s name, team, the award you are nominating them for and a short explanation as to why you think they should receive the award.

Season Awards

Coach of the Year & Assistant Coach of the Year:

The Minnesota High School Cycling League ‘Coach of the Year’ and ‘Assistant Coach of the Year’ Award recognizes two outstanding coaches annually.

Athletes with Heart:

The ‘Athletes with Heart’ Award is an given to one male and one female student-athlete of each who best exemplifies one or more of the ideals of sportsmanship.

Volunteer Power Award:

The Volunteer Power’ Award is an given to a volunteer who has gone above the call of duty to help with a team, at the races or to help spread the word about the MN High School League and their teams.
