Each year, the MN League presents material to keep coaches current on national curriculum developments and provide a tailored agenda specific for coaches and teams here in Minnesota.
In addition, Leaders Summit events allow coaches and team directors to meet and reconnect directly with other team leaders and MN League core staff.
NEW for 2020 – Two Leaders Summit Events
LEADERS SUMMIT 1 (Being held virtually):
Returning Coaches, Head Coaches, and Team Directors.
Date: 5/2 & 5/3, 8AM – 11AM
Be prepared for roundtable discussions and opportunities to collaborate and learn from other attendees, as well as from MN League Core Staff. From NICA policies and procedures to team organization, and coaching structures, this event offers an opportunity for teams to listen, share and discuss topics critical to helping everyone prepare for the 2020 season.

LEADERS SUMMIT 2 (Being held virtually):
New Coaches or Coaches that have not yet attended a Leaders Summit
Date: Sat. May 2 – Sun. May 3, 2020 from 8AM – 2PM
This Leaders Summit will focus on helping new coaches who are working on getting a new team up and biking! At this event, coaches will gain an understanding of the core NICA coaching curriculum – currently being used in 30 other leagues across the nation – that forms the foundation for effectively starting and supporting a team. An example of topics covered will be on-the-bike skills training, risk management, core coaching philosophy, effective practice planning, and much more. Beyond learning critical information for how to coach and manage a team, this is also an opportunity to connect and meet other coaches in the MN league.
